Overview

F5 Transmitter Models

All DigiTrak® F5™ transmitters have 0.1% pitch sensitivity and transmit roll data using a 24-position clock. They have blue tubes and share the same dimensions as other DigiTrak® transmitters. These transmitters are only for use with the F5™ locating system. The F5™ system is also compatible with the F Series™ transmitters made for the F2® system as well as the 12-kHz DucTrak™ transmitters. All battery-powered DigiTrak® transmitters enter sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Housing Requirements
DCI’s F5TM transmitters require housings with at least three slots equally spaced around the circumference of the housing for optimal signal emission and maximum battery life. The slots must be at least 1/16 or 0.0625 in. (1.6 mm) wide. All slot measurements should be taken from the inside of the housing. The posi- tion and length requirements of the housing slots are shown in the drawing below.
